DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

]1. Prepare an annual sales and marketing strategy and budget, and continuously monitor and report on its achievements on a weekly, monthly and annual basis. 

2. Prepare weekly sales and marketing reports for submission to the Managing Director. 

3. Based on marketing reports and sales performance revise strategies accordingly a weekly basis and submit to the Managing Director. 

4. Oversee all customer inquiries and requests are appropriately responded to in a timely manner. Must have a ready customer base to which the product line can be introduced.

 5. Oversee all advertising, publicity and brand management. And participate in Regional / National Industrial Trade Exhibitions/ Expos/ Fair 

. Lead on customer satisfaction surveys and report to management to inform on implications/future sales strategies. 

7. Coordinate feasibility studies on proposed products to the management. 

. Liaise with internal departments with regards to performance on manufacturing, transportation of goods to customers, invoicing and collections.

 9. Appraise the performance of the Marketing and Sales team members. 

10. Recruit new employees and make appropriate recommendations to the Human Resource Department. 

11. Any other duties assigned by the Managing Director

 WORK CONDITIONS Work normal working hours but may be required to do some work in evening or on off time. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE • Educated to degree level or relevant qualification in Industrial marketing or business administration (specialising in Industrial Sales/Marketing) • 3 to 5 years senior level experience of sales and marketing within the manufacturing industry of repute SKILLS & COMPETENCIES • Must be excellent at designing and implementing marketing strategies to achieve desired results • Must have excellent leadership and customer management skills • Should be able to identify new trends in the market and design sales strategies and campaigns to respond to them • Should be able to design and recommend competitive and cost effective strategies • Strong communication skills and able to interact with people at all levels within the company and externally and team skills, working in a matrix environment • Must be computer literate and be able to display analytical skills and presentation skill as well • Must be able to adapt and operate effectively within new and challenging environments.
